Ambrose sets for Derby County debut against Villa

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose is in line to make his debut for Derby County against Aston Villa this weekend.
The 30 year old utility defender was signed as a free agent until the end of the season after he terminated his deal with the Scottish Premier League side Hibernian.
Ambrose who played for an hour with the under 23 side last Sunday has been training with the first team and the team coach Frank Lampard has confirmed his readiness for the first team action.
"He is at the stage to be in contention to be in the squad for Villa game" Lampard said.
Former Kaduna United who was brought in as a cover up for centre back pairing of Richard Keogh and Fikayo Tomori made more than 200 appearances in Scottish football during his time with Hibs and Celtic.
