Anichebe Willing To Be A Club Owner

Ex Nigeria international Victor Anichebe revealed his dream of being a club owner in the nearest future, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The power playing forward who has just recovered from an injury has been unattached since he departed Chinese side Beijing Enterprises.

Anichebe hits limelight when he broke into the first team of the English premier league side Everton FC and he was able to also played for West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City before injury hampered his progress.

Though Anichebe is still willing to be back in action and play a professional football again but is presently working on his fitness.

He expressed his desire of owning a club during an interview with Skysport and hope he can convince his friend into the business.

“I would like to go down that route of owning a team.

“I do have a group of people that are quite wealthy guys and together we could come together and go down that route.

“I don’t see why we can’t all come together [as players] and buy clubs. I do think that is another way to really affect change. Instead of wanting change, we can be the change ourselves,” he added

Anichebe was part of Nigeria's Dream Team to Beijing Olympics in 2008 under coach Samson Siasia and they Silver medal for the country.
