Nigeria's Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper Francis Uzoho started life in the Cyprus league on an impressive note.

The young goalkeeper moved to Anorthosis Famagusta in the Cyprus premier league after his loan move to Spanish Segunda side Elche was terminated by his parent club Deportivo La Coruna.

Former youth international made his debut on Saturday when Anorthosis hosted and defeated Apollon 1-0.

Uzoho was in goal for Nigeria at Russia 2018 World cup and recorded one clean sheets in 3 games.
