" I'm pretty pleased overall considering the the fact that the team have not been together for over a year and with my first training with them I was pleased to get the result. The game is a hard one but we can take positives from it and also we have some areas we need to improve upon.
"Personally to get a win as coach of Nigeria, I'm pleased, excited and proud of the payers.
"In the first half we were much better in terms of ball possession and movement but in the second half we were kind of lost a little bit , we committed fouls but i think that after sometime it's something we will work and improve upon. It's a good start," he said.
Nigeria next match is against Uzbekistan.
