Anthony Joshua will have the chance to win back his world titles and exact revenge against Andy Ruiz later this year.
His promoter Eddie Hearn, speaking in the ring after AJ's shock seventh round stoppage loss at Madison Square Garden, confirmed that they will be invoking the rematch clause.
'The rematch will be in the UK in November or December. Now we'll see what AJ is about, this will be a big rematch but Ruiz deserves it,' he told Sky Sports Box Office.

Eddie Hearn said the rematch will take place in the UK in November or December.
After dropping Ruiz to the canvas for the first time in the Mexican's career, Joshua marched forwards to finish the job.
But he was then twice floored before being saved by the bell at the end of the third.
Ruiz continued to pose a threat and showed a solid chin himself, with lightning quick punches finding a home on the bigger, more athletic man.

The referee waved a stop to the contest in the seventh after the British heavyweight failed to adequately respond to his instructions.
Hearn lamented: 'AJ got sloppy, he was in control, got caught but never recovered. I don't know, he looked flat at times, it was a great fight.
'This sport is mountain tops and valleys as they say. He'll bounce back, but this is a must win now.
'Andy Ruiz will believe he can win the rematch, AJ has to rebuild and let the fire burn inside him. Tonight goes down as a huge upset. AJ will be devastated when this sinks in.'
