Former Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Anthony Ujah is gradually regaining his old form in the Mainz05.

Ujah returned to German Bundesliga last summer from the Chinese Super League and has since started making his mark in the league.

With Bundesliga season still on winter break, the German clubs have embarked on friendly matches to prepare for the league that will resume next week.

Mainz05 on Saturday hosted Freiburg and played out a 2-2 draw with Ujah netting the opener in the 12th minutes before Levin Mete Oztunali doubled the scores in the 18th minutes.

Freiburg responded in the second stanza with goals from Dominique Heintz and Florian Niederlechner.

Anthony Ujah is in his second spell with the club.
