Antonio Conte reportedly agrees to become Real Madrid manager, as Los Blancos prepare to sack Julen Lopetegui

Ex-Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has formally agreed to take over at Real Madrid, reports BSNSports.com.ng. The Spanish giants are set to sack current boss Julen Lopetegui, who has endured a disastrous start to his reign at the Bernabeu with Madrid losing three of their last four matches in all competitions. Real have already endured defeat twice in La Liga this season and the club hierarchy are reportedly losing patience with the former Spain head coach. Conte has been out of work since leaving Chelsea in the summer, after winning the Premier League and an FA Cup in his two-year stint in west London. Conte has been waiting for the right opportunity to return to club management and, he has formally agreed to take over at Real Madrid. Conte has spoken with Madrid chiefs and has advised them of his desire to take over at the Bernabeu, with Lopetegui expected to be sacked imminently.
