An official app has been launched to mark Formula 1's great birthday, Micheal Schumacher.

The Keep Fighting Foundation is launching an official Michael Schumacher app to mark the World Champion’s 50th birthday.

Schumacher turns 50 years old on January 3rd and, to mark the occasion, the foundation set up in his honour is releasing a special app.

Due for release for both iOS and Android devices on January 3rd, Schumacher: The Official App is set to be a ‘digital Grand Prix of memories’, and will revisit the seven time World Champions’ career through picture, statistics, interviews, and virtual tours of the Schumacher exhibition at Motorworld Cologne-Rheinland and the go karting track at Mannheim from Michael’s early career.

The Keep Fighting Foundation was set up in honour of Michael, who suffered life-changing injuries in a skiing accident in 2013. He has withdrawn from public life ever since, and has not been seen or photographed since returning to his home in Switzerland over four years ago.

Micheal Schumacher won five Formula One tittles before his unfortunate life threatening accident in 2013 to make him one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time.
