Aremu Hope For A Successful Season in Germany

Few weeks after pitching his tent with German Bundesliga 2 side, FC St Pauli, Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Afees Aremu is still in cloud nine over the move, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After distinguishing himself in the Norwegian league with IK Start, Aremu signed a two year deal with St Pauli ahead of new German league season.

While Speaking to Eagles tracker, Aremu believed that his move to St Pauli is a move in the right direction.

" I’m so excited to move to Germany because it’s what I’ve been dreaming and working towards. I’m so happy that I earned it.

Well, I had a two wonderful seasons at IK Start. I met the good people of the city, my teammates, coaching staff and also the fans. Every footballer wants to take a good step in their career and I think this is a good step for me.

That’s why I didn’t take too much time to decide on joining FC St. Pauli.

I can’t say much now, but I’m waiting for the season to kick start and I will give everything for my team and the amazing fans. After the season, we will see what we have achieved," he told Eagles tracker.
