Asaba 2018: South Africa Top Medals Table, Nigeria in 2nd

By Admin South Africa are the leaders on the medal standings at the 21st edition of the African Senior Athletics Championships at the end of Day 3. Team South Africa top the table with 17 medals – 5 Gold, 7 Silver & 5 Bronze medals. Nigeria is in 2nd place having won a total of 11 medals – 5 Gold, 3 Silver & 3 Bronze medals – as at the end of Day 3. Meanwhile, Kenya are 3rd with a medal haul of 6 ( 3 Gold, 2 Silver & 1 Bronze), Morocco are in 4th place with 7 medals (2 Gold, 1 Silver & 4 Bronze) and Botswana 5th with 3 medals (2 Gold & 1 Silver).
