At Last, NPFL Gets November 3 Kick off Date

After so much delay and wait Nigeria professional football league has finally get a kick off date and the draw has also been conducted for the match days.

The league has been on holiday for over 130 days due to various reasons such as TV rights, Sponsorships and many more, BSN reports

20 club Chairmen have unanimously agreed on a November 3rd date for the kick off of the 2019/20 NPFL season, finally bringing an end to several postponement and speculation.

The meeting of the Club Chairmen and the League Management Company (LMC) was held in Maitama in Abuja on Monday where the draw for the season was also conducted.

Enyimba of Aba is currently the defending champion after they emerged victorious at the Super 6 played at the Agege stadium in Lagos.
