    Atlas Lionesses Win Malta Tournament Ahead Of 2022 Women’s AFCON In Morocco   Morocco, who will host 2022 Women’s AFCON as for their first time, have had a busy schedule in the midst of the final round qualifiers of the tournament they will stage 2nd to 23rd July 2022 with a trip to Malta where the Atlas Lionesses won a three-nation friendly tournament.   Frenchman Reynald Perdros took his 23-member team which included fourteen home-based players for the Visit Malta Women’s International Tournament that was held from February 16-22 in Paola. The tournament involved Malta, Morocco and Moldova.   Morocco kicked-off the tournament on February 19 with a 1-0 win over Malta. It was an achievement from FAR Rabat striker Sanaa Messoudy in the in the 26th minute.   The 2022 WAFCON hosts wrapped-up their outing on Wednesday with a 4-0 win over Moldova.   The tournament was Morocco’s first international engagement in 2022 following two high-profile friendlies in the latter phase of 2021.   Morocco lost 3-0 away to Spain on November 21 in Caceres. And they later beat Senegal 2-0 on November 30 in Rabat.
