Atletico Madrid come from behind to stun Athletic Bilbao

Atletico
Atletico Madrid came from a goal down to register a 2-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao in a LaLiga tie played on Wednesday.  Iker Muniain opened the scoring from Bilbao before Llorente leveled the scores with Luis Suarez grabbing the winner from the spot in the second half. The visitors broke the dead in the 21st minute through Munian. The ball was worked out to the right-wing towards Williams who then waited for some much-needed back-up and picked out Muniain who converted from 12 yards out into the bottom right-hand corner of the Atletico net. Just before halftime, Atletico drew level. It was a simple ball into Lemar who crossed back to unmarked Llorente. The midfielder leaps highest and headed home from eight yards out courtesy of a very big deflection from a Bilbao defender. In the second half, Madrid were awarded a penalty after Suarez was brought down by Nunez inside the danger zone. Luis Suarez stepped up and dispatched his penalty into the bottom left-hand corner of the Bilbao net. Next up for Atletico is a Madrid derby against lowly Getafe on Saturday evening whilst Bilbao travel to Celta Vigo on Sunday afternoon in a battle of two European qualification hopefuls.
