Austria Bundesliga: Obasi To Miss Midweek Match For Altach

After missing last weekend match, the head coach of Austria Bundesliga club SCR Altach, Alex Pastoor has confirmed that newly acquired Nigeria's international, Chinedu Obasi will not be available for the midweek clash against Union Guerten, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Obasi joined Altach FC last weekend but was unable to play against TSV Hartberg in the league match that ended in a 1-1 draw.

Ahead of the midweek match, Pastoor said Obasi is yet to be cleared to join the rest of the team but believe the team will be alright.

“Chinedu Obasi is not yet allowed to play, but I assume that it will work out by Wednesday," he said.

Obasi may be back for the weekend match against league champion Red Bull Salzburg.
