Awaziem Hopes to Remain At Leganes

After a successful loan spell in Spain, Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem has stated that he will love to stay with Spanish side CD Leganes beyond the end of the season.

Awaziem joined Leganes on loan from Portugal Primera side FC Porto last summer and has become an household name in the club,BSN Reports

The versatile defender made his intention known while speaking on a popular television programme in Africa.

“It all depends on how the season ends. If the club decides to extend my contract, we could do it. I feel comfortable here,” Awaziem said.

Since joining the club Awaziem has made 21 appearances for Leganes in all competitions this season playing in various positions.
