Awaziem, Umar Star in Rizespor away victory

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem continued to make headlines in the Turkish Super League despite playing just two games for Rizespor, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Awaziem left Portuguese Primera Liga side FC Porto in the winter transfer window on loan to Rizespor in Turkey after Porto signed Portuguese international Pepe.

He was in action on Sunday alongside another Nigeria midfielder Aminu Umar as Rizespor played away to Ezrumm BB.

With Awaziem playing from the right side of the defence, the game was keenly contested and it took Rizespor 79th minutes before Fernando Boldrin netting the winning goal.

Umar was substituted in the 85th minutes for Orhan Ovackli while Awaziem played the whole duration of the game.

Three Nigerians were on parade for Rzespor as Emem Uduok was also in action.
