AWCON 2018: South Africa Set Up Nigeria Final, Falcons Vow To Revenge

Banyana Banyana of South Africa have qualified for the 2019 FIFA Women World Cup following their 2-0 win over Mali in the Semifinal of the 2018 African Women Nations Cup,BSNSports.com.ng reports.
In the first Semifinal game, Super Falcons defeated a well-coordinated Lionesses of Cameroon 4-2 on penalties in a very tough game where both teams could not score for 120 minutes before heading into penalties.
South Africa and Nigeria have qualified and will play in the 2018 AWCON final on Saturday at the Cape Coast stadium Ghana.
South Africa qualified for the final for the first time since 2012. Falcons on the other hand are set to win the title back to back and revenge their first group B match 0-1 loss to Banyana Banyana.
The final is scheduled for Saturday 5:00 pm, Nigerian time.
Both teams have qualified for the FIFA World Cup in France.
Winners between Lionesses of Cameroon and Mali in the loser's final will join Nigeria and South Africa at the 2019 FIFA Women World Cup in France.
