AWCON Qualifiers: Thieves Cart Away Super Falcons Players Properties in Gambia

Thieves in the early hours of Wednesday invaded the camp of the Super Falcons in Banjul, the Gambia capital. The Super Falcons are due to play their Gambian counterparts for a ticket to the finals of the African Women Nations Cup holding in Ghana next year. Reports reaching BSN SPORTS from eagleseye online has it that valuables were stolen from the camp by the invaders, including personal properties of the Nigerian players. The first leg of the qualifier will hold today 5pm Nigerian time. The second leg of the qualifying match is slated for the Agege Township Stadium in Lagos on Monday.
