Awoniyi Granted UK Work Permit By Sampson Adedeji After more than 5 years of wait, Nigeria international Taiwo Awoniyi has been granted compulsory UK Work Permit, BSNSports.com.ng reports. English premier league side Liverpool FC signed Nigeria forward in 2015 after having a good outing at the 2013 FIFA U17 World cup from Imperia Soccer Academy. He has spent the entirety of his Anfield career to date on loan in Belgium and Germany. But after spending the current season with Union Berlin, former junior international has played the required quota of Bundesliga matches to meet the new GBE work permit criteria for next season. Premier league clubs; Fulham, West Brom and championship team Stoke City has enquired about Awoniyi. While Bundesliga side Union Berlin, Stuggart and Wolfburg had also asked Liverpool for his services . Former English Champions Liverpool has slapped £8 million on Awoniyi and it remained unseen if any of the clubs will the amount for the Nigeria international.
