Awoniyi Heaps Praise On Klopp

Nigeria's international Taiwo Awoniyi has heaped praises on Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp for the way he has been able to transformed the club.

Awoniyi who is presently on loan at the German Bundesliga side Mainz05 joined Liverpool few years back but was unable to play for the club due to work permit.

The lanky striker recognized the excellent job the German has done with the Reds eulogised him.

He’s more than a legend here. Everyone is so grateful for all he achieved for the club,” Awoniyi told the Liverpool website.

“The love they have for him at the club is unexplainable.

“When I came to the club, I was seeing a lot of stuff that I’ve seen in Liverpool as well. I believe it’s just more of the same impact and the same process.

“I believe they are still living on the legacy.”

Awoniyi is expected to return to Anfield at the end of the ongoing season.
