Awoniyi's Goal Helps Mouscron To Defeat Gent

Former Flying Eagles striker, Taiwo Awoniyi's 43rd-minute goal for Royal Excel Mouscron helped the visitors to earn maximum three points over Gent, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Dream Team VI forward Taiwo Awoniyi continue to make headlines in the Belgium Jupiler with his superlative performance.

He was on top of his game again on Sunday as he played key role in Royal Mouscron victory over his former club KAA Gent.

Awoniyi left Gent during winter transfer window for his parent club Liverpool who loaned him back to Mouscron.

He opened the scoring in the 43rd minutes with a sublime finish before Sidney Friede doubled the lead in the 51st minutes.

Dylan Bronn halves the scores in the 60th minutes from the penalty spot and ended the game at 2-1 in favour of Mouscron.

Since returning to Mouscron for his second spell Awoniyi has been outstanding for the club
