Ayobami Remains Shooting Stars Player - Club GM

By Sampson Adedeji

Following the ongoing debates about the rightful owner of the midfielder Ayobami Junior, the General Manager of Shooting Stars Rasheed Balogun has confirmed that the player remained a bonafide player of the club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

News broke out yesterday that the skilful player has joined Kano Pillars ahead of the new Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Balogun in an exclusive interview with BSN Sports maintained that Ayobami still has a valid contract with the Oluyole warriors.

"Well, everybody has the right to say whatever they want to say, as far as we are concerned, Ayobami Junior remains Shooting Stars player until the end of 2020/2021 season." Rasheed Balogun told www.bsnsports.com.ng

"What we request from Kano Pillars is not something I should put on air, they intimated us about what they intend doing with the player and we told them the amount they will pay if they wanted him.

"We were negotiating and they never said anything after that, next thing they said was that whenever they need player from us they will get in touch.

Reacting to whether the player is on loan with 3SC from another club.

"Is it possible to loan a player for 3 season?

Does rule permit that? He asked rhetorically.

"Ayobami remained Shooting Stars player until 2020/2021 season," he concluded.
