Azeez on target in Granada first win

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Ramon Azeez continues to play himself back into reckoning as his Spanish La Liga side Granada C.F grabbed first win of the season.

BSN reports that Azeez who has spent all his entire playing career in the Spanish football put up an amazing performance as Granada thrashed Espanyol 3-0 away from home.

The first stanza ended scoreless with home side dominating the possession, but Antonio Puertas still find way to put Granada in front before the break.

After the break, Carlos Fernandez smashed home his team's second of the match after Darwin Machis' initial shot was saved by Espanyol goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

Machis was involved in the third goal too, waiting for the support of midfielder Ramon Azeez who he teed up perfectly to round off the scoring.

Azeez last played for Super Eagles at the 2014 World cup in Brazil under late coach Stephen Keshi.
