Speaking to Liverpool's official website , the 22-year-old said: "It was a really proud moment for myself and my family. It's an honour to be called up and these are the moments I play football for, to play with the best of the best. I know a few of the players from playing with
England at U-18, U-19 and U-20s level and I've also played against some of them. I'm also looking forward to seeing them again. "I want to be like a sponge and go there and learn from the more experienced players, but I'm there as a competitor to work hard and show them what I can do.
"I want to cement my place and make sure I can get in the next squad and the one after that."

Babajide had 8 goals last season, the most of any player in Liverpool last season.
