CAFCL: Babatunde eager to help Wydad beat Lobi Stars in Enugu

Nigeria International Babatunde Michael is planning to wreak plenty of havoc on Lobi Stars when both sides meet on Friday in a CAF Champions League clash at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium in Enugu, BSNSports reports.

The Wydad Athletic of Morocco player told BSNSports exclusively ahead of his team’s departure to Nigeria, “They are in great form, whether it’s a home or away. We have to take that belief into that game (against Lobi Stars) away.”

“It’s going to be an emotional game for me no doubt because I will be playing in my country.

But as professionals we have to get the job done which is what we will do on the pitch come Friday in Enugu.

“We have seen what they are capable of and I’m confident we can overcome them and return to Morocco with all three points,” Babatunde said.

Babatunde and his Wydad Casablanca teammates arrived Enugu Wednesday morning aboard a chartered flight for the match with Lobi Stars.
