Babatunde Michael Completes 3-year Wydad Casablanca Move

By Niyi Busari Super Eagles 2014 FIFA world cup forward, Babatunde Michael has agreed a three year deal with Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca BSN Sports can authoritatively reveal. The former Qatari side, Qatar Sports Club, whose contract deal with the club still run till 30th June 2019 but decided to move on to another club to enhance his career. BSN recalls that the 25 year left footed attacker had moved from another Moroccan side Raja Casablanca to the Qatar club in 2016 following his departure from Ukranian club Dnipro in 2015. The forward was a revelation in 2014 FIFA world cup as he was a thorn in the flesh of the Super Eagles opponents at the mundial. Eagles were knocked out in the second round of the Brazil 2014 by France when he and Ogenyi Onazi were the target, thus got knocks and had to leave the pitch due to injuries. He shone like a million star at tournament in Brazil where he caught the eye of many European clubs before he settled for Dnipro in 2015.
