CAFCL: Babatunde on target as Wydad down ASEC

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Michael Babatunde made the headline as he scored a goal in Wydad Casablanca 5-2 spanking of ASEC Mimosa of Ivory Coast, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
His club Wydad Casablanca hosted ASEC Mimosa of Coted'ivoire in the first match of the group game on Friday night and it ended on a good note for the 2017 champions.
The game started with host dominating possession which paid off in the 14th minutes with an open goal from El Hadad but Coulibaly leveled the scores in 44th minutes to end the half all square.
The second stanza stated on a ground for Wydad with Babatunde putting them ahead again in the 48th minutes before El Moutaraji increases the tally to 3-1.
El Karti made it 4-1 in the 69th minutes before Aouk scored fifth goal in the 80th minutes while Bagate made it 5-2 for ASEC.
Babatunde was part of Nigeria's Super Eagles team to 2014 World Cup in Brazil under the tutelage of late coach Stephen Keshi.
