Bala Nkiyu Plays Down Nasarawa Utd Loss To Olympic Eagles, Says Focus Is On The NPFL

Few days to the 2019/2020 new Nigeria Professional League season, Nasarawa United coach Bala Nikyu has play down his side defeat to Nigeria's Dream Team VII .

The AFCON U23 bound team defeated Nasarawa United 2-0 on Wednesday in Abuja courtesy two second half goals, BSN reports

"It is just a friendly game and normally when you are playing it you want to see some lapses, so losing the match is not even a concern for now, the concern is where we are going to amend in the next 2 weeks.

"We have done our necessary preparations after today we are going to put finishing touches to some areas.

"The 20 premier league teams in NPFL are getting ready as soon as the league kick off everybody will be struggling to win and at the end of the day the result may go otherwise, so Nasarawa United is ready, he concluded.

Nasarawa United, according to week one fixture of the 2019/20 NPFL are to play champions Enyimba International in Aba this weekend but the match may not take place due to people's Elephant involvement in the CAF Confederation cup.
