Balogun Bags First Europa League Goal In Rangers Win Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun on Thursday night netted his first Uefa Europa League goal in Rangers home win against Brondby of Denmark, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The Nigeria international has been in scoring form, recently, he found the back of the net for the Super Eagles in their 0-2 away win against Central African Republic in the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier. The Scottish champions, Rangers hosted Danish club Ibrox on Thursday and recorded an emphatic 2-0 victory. Balogun put the Gers ahead early in the game before Kemar Roofe made it 2-0 for the home side. Balogun was replaced by his compatriot Calvin Bassey midway into the second half after sustaining an injury while another Nigeria international Joe Aribo played the entire duration of the game.
