  Leon Balogun Injured In Cup Game By Sampson Adedeji It was a double blow for Scottish Premier League leaders, Rangers as they lost Nigeria's Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun to injury after crashing out to St Mirren in a Cup game, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Gers entered the game as a strong favorites as they hope to continue their winning streak and impressive form. But it ended up in a 3-2 defeat to the surprise of their fans. Nigeria international, Balogun was roughly marked by Jon Obika in the 80th minute and he was replaced by Flip Helander in the 82nd minute when he could not continue. Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, gave update on his fitness and hope to have him back soon. "He’s a bit dizzy. So we will analyse him over the next couple of days and take advice from the medical staff. Hopefully he can pull through. If not, we have Fil available again," he said. Balogun joined Rangers this summer from the English premier league side Brighton Hove Albion.
