Balogun singled out for praise by Sir Kenny Daglish

Liverpool legend, Sir Kenny Daglish has hailed the influence of Super Eagles defender, Leon Balogun on this Rangers side, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Daglish in a post on Sunday Post also singled out teammate, Jamaican forward, Kemar Roofe for some praise as Rangers continue with their impressive form in the league this season. Balogun, who joined this summer from Mainz has featured 15 times for the Gers. His contribution has made the defence one of the most compact in the country. Rangers, so far have conceded just seven goals in 24 matches and have won eight more games than Celtic to open a 21-point gap on the champions.
