Bartholomew Ogbeche Sacked by Dutch Club Willem

By Admin Dutch Club Willem Release Ogbeche, Five Others Dutch Eredivisie club, Willem II have released Nigerian forward, Bartholomew Ogbeche along with five other players considered surplus to requirements. The five other players whose services are also no longer needed at the club; Eyong Enoch, Thom Haye, Darryl Lachman, Stefan van der Lei and Gilano Wijnaldum. The club released the names of the players through a statement on their official website on Tuesday. Ogbeche, who was part of Nigeria’s squad to the 2002 FIFA World Cup in South Korea and Japan joined Willem 11 from another Dutch club, SC Cambur in January 2016 He was plagued by a shoulder and cruciate ligament injuries during his time at the club. The 33-year-old made 20 league appearances for the club this season and hit the back of the net 10 times. Ogbeche has had stints with clubs in France, Greece, UAE, Spain and England.
