Basketball African League To Dunk-Off In March Sampson Adedeji The organiser of the African Basketball League (BAL) has announced the date and venue for the 2022 edition of the competition, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The inaugural edition of the tournament was held in Kigali, Rwanda in May 2021 with Zamalek winning the title after they defeated the US Monastir of Tunisia in the final. The format of the second edition was rearranged to accommodate more teams from the continent. According to the new arrangement, the competition will be held in three cities and will tip off in Dakar, Senegal. Twelve teams from twelve African countries will start the competition on March 5th and will play 38 games across three months. The semi finals and final will take place in Kigali, Rwanda on the 21st to 28th of May 2022.
