Basketball: Kano, Plateau, Kaduna, Bauchi In Quarterfinals of Dallaji U17 Cup By Niyi Busari Kano, Plateau, Kaduna and Bauchi U17 Basketball teams have qualified for the quarterfinals of the ongoing 2021 Noah Dallaji Legacy U17 Basketball Tournament, BSNSports.com.ng can report. The four clubs won their respective first three games making their last group matches a formality. In the first game of match-day 3 of the 8-day tournament, Niger handed second defeat to Kwara beating their North Central counterparts (44-41) while Kano defeated Gombe (61-32) while Kaduna added salt to Team Taraba's injury handing it the third loss in the 8-day championship after a (47-28) defeat. Plateau beat Katsina (51-20) as Bauchi edged Kwara 34-31 in the 4th and 5th games at the Sani Abacha stadium Kano. The last encounter on match-day 3 saw Gombe beat Kebbi (46-32). Four other quarterfinalists will emerge today in the last group matches. Four games will be played to determine teams that progress to the quarter-finals which commences on Thursday while the semis goes underway on Friday.
