Basketball: We Are In Kano To Discover, Nurture Talents says Eng Noah Dallaji By Niyi Busari No fewer than 14 talents have been discovered in the ongoing Noah Dallaji Legacy U17 Basketball Tournament in Kano says the President of African Children Talent Discovery Foundation (ACTDF), Engineer Noah Dallaji. Noah Dallaji while explaining what prompted sponsoring the program in Kano emphasized that discovering and nurturing talents which is abound in Nigeria is the reason they have brought the project to Kano. He said, "We are in Kano to discover and nurture young talented players in Kano. ACTDF will provide them with platform to move to the next level in their careers. "Recently, some of the footballers we discovered in Bauchi have already secured contracts with different European clubs. We camped them in Lagos after discovery and now they are in Europe, the same thing is what we are planning to do with the basketball tournament. The 14 talents will have our support". He said, "Sports is a unifying factor in Nigeria and we want to use that to reposition the country to promote peace and harmony. "Recently, we successfully hosted the Para-soccer tournament in Lagos and we promised to sponsor the Para-soccer League for the first time in Nigeria".
