Bayelsa Queens, Edo Queens, Five others set to Storm Ondo state for Women football Pre-season tourney By Admin All is now set for the maiden edition of Queens football consults' pre-season women football tourney among elite teams in Nigeria. The 4-day tourney which is billed for the Ondo state sports complex is expected to commence on the 28th and end on the 31st of March. In a release made available to BSN Sports, the coordinator of the tourney Michael Akintunde revealed that top women premier league teams already registered for the inaugural event and will storm Ondo state capital for the tournament any time soon. The statement further stated that NWPL champions Bayelsa Queens , Edo Queens, Sunshine Queens, Osun Queens, and three others will compete at the tourney. Government of Ondo state, two telecommunication giants, KAMT media, international Breweries are among leading partners of the tourney. The aim of the event is to prepare participating teams ahead of the fast approaching 2019 NWPL season, encourage girl child education , put an end to discrimination in our society and raise an awareness on cancer .
