Bayelsa Queens Embark On Two Weeks Break

The Management of Bayelsa Queens has asked the team to embark on a two weeks break to enable the players visit their families after a successful campaign in the 2021 Female Aiteo Cup.
The Chairman of the Board of Bayelsa Queens, Apreala Robin Angonimi in a statement signed by Secretary, Alagoa-Aigbiniode Grace stated that the Girls are expected to resume for preparation ahead of next season of the Nigerian Women Football League NWFL on August 28.
Robin Apreala thanked the team for the hard work and determination which saw them defeat FC Robo Queens in the Final of the Female Aiteo Cup in Benin City last weekend.
The Management equally congratulated the following players of the team Captain Joy Jerry, Celine Ottah, Zenaib Olapade and Goalkeeper Omini Monle for invitation to the camp of the Falconets ahead of the U-20 world Cup qualifier against Central African Republic.
The team Technical Adviser and Chief Coach Charity Ewere were also congratulated for their invitation to the National team to assist Christopher Danjuma in the quest to qualify for the 2022 U-20 Women World Cup holding in Panama/Costa Rica.
Robin Apreala in the statement also thanked the Governor His Excellencey Senator Douye Diri and his Deputy Senator Lawrence Ewruhjakpo as well as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Daniel Igali for the massive support given to the team that culminated in winning the Female Aiteo Cup this Year.
