Bayelsa Queens Pip FC Robo To Top NWFL Table

Bayelsa Queens FC of Yenagoa have climbed to the top of the Nigeria Women Football League after pipping hard fighting Robo Queens FC from Lagos one nil in a delayed match-day three of the 2020/21 season at the Samson Siasia stadium.
The Gloryland Girls as Bayelsa Queens are fondly called created many scoring opportunities in the first half but poor maskmanship was their bane as the first half ended scoreless.

On his part, Coach Moses Aduku stated that the most important thing was getting the three point against a good team like FC Robo and that his team is still work in progress.
Goal scorer Charity Rueben was delighted that her strike gave Bayelsa Queens the much needed three point and looking forward to scoring more goals this season.
Bayelsa Queens have maximum nine points from three matches and will next take on Confluence Queens of Lokoja after the league resumes from the Yuletide break.
