Moses Aduku, manager of Bayelsa Queens says his team will bounce back after their poor outing at the 2021 NWFL Premiership Super 6, BSNSports.com.ng reports
The team led the table before the Super Six but were only able to pick up five points from five matches, two draws against Sunshine and Delta Queens and a win against Edo Queens on the last day of the Super 6.
Speaking with the thenwfl, Aduku who won the league title for Bayelsa Queens in 2018 said his team will be stronger and better next season.
"No doubt, it wasn’t a good tournament for us, we didn’t start well and that affected us as a team. We sincerely want to appreciate the Government and good people of Bayelsa for their support and of course the management and all the fans that came here to support us at the Super 6." he said.
“Next season is going to be better for us. We hope to get it right and continue with a very strong mentality. It’s painful that we started playing well very late in the competition and sometimes these things happen. I am proud of the players, despite the unexpected results, we shall continue to work hard to come back stronger next season.” He added.
