Bayelsa State Football Association Inaugurates Electoral Committee

BAYELSA STATE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION INAUGURATES ELECTORAL COMMITTEE

The Bayelsa State Football Association BSFA has inaugurated its Electoral Committee and Appeals Committee to see to the affairs of the forthcoming Bayelsa State Football Association Election.

Former Bayelsa Queens Chairman Mr, Tarilaye Nwankwe will serve as Chairman of the electoral committee while Mr. George Ameli as Secretary.

Other members are Dr Paul Obuma, Mrs Ebitimi Ayako and Sunday Obiene.

The Appeals Committee Member has Hannah Abaje Bekowei  as Chairman while Temedie Peter Great will handle Secretariat position with  Mr Jonathan Debo as a member.

Speaking on the occasion Chairman of the Bayelsa State Football Association Mr Poubeni Ogun represented by the vice Chairman of the Association Mr, Laye Julius promised a credible and fair elections.

Electoral Committee Chairman Mr. Tarilaye Nwankwe in his acceptance speech said the committee would ensure the elections are  conducted peacefully .

Meanwhile the sale of nomination form is on and will end on the 30th of this month while Screening of candidates will  commence on the 7th of February.

Appeals begin from 14th to 15th  of February,  while the election comes up on the 26th of February at Latik Hotel INEC Road Kpansia Yenagoa
