Bayelsa United, Aglogold FC CAF Confederation Cup Clash To Take Place In Nigeria Without Return Leg Sampson Adedeji With a few days to the start of this year CAF Confederation Cup, the African soccer governing body (CAF) has confirmed that the match involving Nigeria's representative Bayelsa United and their counterparts from Guinea is to played on a one-legged affair, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The Nigeria National League club qualified to represent the country in the second-tier competition after they emerged champions of this year's Aiteo Federation Cup beating Nasarawa United 4-3 on penalties in the final. In a statement communicated to the affected countries, the football stated that all the games involving Guinea clubs will be played in one-legged affairs and away from Guinea. Aglogold FC of Guinea were drawn against Bayelsa United in the preliminary rounds of the competition and the game is fixed to come up this weekend. The letter further stated that the match will be played at the Samson Siasia stadium in Yenogoa, Bayelsa state on 19th September, 2021. Several games including Qatar 2022 World cup qualifier involving Guinea and Morocco suffered postponement due to political unrest in Guinea.
