Egyptian Premier League side Tala’a El-Gaish have signed Bayelsa United and Nigeria youngster, Victory Beniangba on loan until the end of the season, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
Beniangba was the hero for the club in the Federation Cup as he netted vital goals to ensure that the club emerged the winner of the trophy.
The 18-year-old started his professional career in his home country with Bayelsa United, with whom he participated in the CAF Confederation Cup last season.
Despite not going past the playoff stage, Victory was able to make his mark after scoring a historic winner against Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien in the first leg of the second qualifying round.
El-Gaish are struggling at the bottom of the league table, where they sit third to last with just five points collected in seven games, under new head coach Tarek El-Ashry.
The Egyptian Super Cup champions have the worst goal-scoring record in the league this season, managing to score just twice.
