Bayelsa United Beat Guinea Side To Face CS Sfaxien In CAF Confederation Cup

It was a sweet victory for Nigeria's representative in the Confederation cup on Sunday as they recorded a resounding win in the leg match against Ashanti Golden Boys, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The Nigeria National League club qualified for the Africa second-tier competition after they emerged champions of the Nigeria Aiteo Federation cup.
They are supposed to play away against the Guinean club but African soccer governing turned the game to a one-legged affair after political unrest halted sporting activities in Guinea.
The game which was played at the Samson Siasia stadium in Yenogoa, saw Bayelsa United dictating the pace of the game and scored 3 goals up courtesy Favour Martins 10', Okardi 30', and Ejo James 35th minutes.
Keita reduced the deficit earlier in the second half before Okardi completed his brace.
Guinea scores again later in the game to keep the results at a respectable scoreline 4-2.
The results mean that Bayelsa United has qualified for the next round of the competition.
Meanwhile, they will face tough opposition in the next round as they will have to confront Tunisia side CS Sfaxien.
