Bayelsa United Feeders Emerge State FA Cup Champion By Hananeel Jackson Bayelsa United team B have been crown champions of the 2018/2019 Bayelsa State FA Cup , Bayelsa United team B beat debutant Abaye FC of Koluama one zero in a keenly contested encounter at the Opolo Secondary school Field. Ebike Fekete gave the Restoration Boys the lead in the 6th minute of the encounter through Yerinson George cross however Ebike Fekete could have made it two but fired wide. After a dominant display in the first half the second half resumed with Bayelsa United mounting pressure on Abaye Fc but the soggy nature of the Opolo Pitch could not allow for the free flow of the ball. Despite the loss Abaye Fc and Bayelsa United team (B) will fly Bayelsa State Flag in the National Aiteo Cup next month. In the Female Category Reigning Nigeria Women Premier League (NWPL) Champions Bayelsa Queens saw off Crystal Stars Football Academy by two goals to one to claim the Converted trophy. This will be first time that Crystal Football Academy will be taking part in the Aiteo Cup.
