Bendel Insurance Threatens To Withdraw From NNL

The Nigeria National League side, Bendel Insurance rejected the judgement of the disciplinary committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) complaints on Remo Stars, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
The national league game was abandoned few weeks back after fracas broke out between the two teams which left several Insurance players injured.
The disciplinary committee on Friday passed a judgement asking the hosts, Remo Stars to pay N400,000 to Insurance and tender apology.
Earlier before the judgement Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has announced the withdrawal of the club from the league untill appropriate things is done.
Former Nigeria Professional Football League side through its media rejected the judgement and vowed not to return to the league untill proper things is done.
"We received the NNL Disciplinary Committee's judgement on the case of assault, security breaches and Field encroachment established against Remo Stars with dismay, disbelief and total loss of confidence in the country's football regulatory body.
"We will not play any match until we get justice," the club said.
