Bernard Ogbe Resigns As Niger Tornadoes Head Coach

Niger Tornadoes coach, Bernard Ogbe has on Sunday resigned as the head coach of 'Ikon Allah', BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After not too impressive performance in the ongoing 2019 Nigeria professional football league season, Niger Tornadoes coach Bernard Ogbe has decided to thrown in towel.

The club has going through torrid period since the start of the season and Ogbe has been under intense pressure.

The soft spoken gaffer confirmed his departure on Sunday after Katsina United compounded the woe of the club with a 3-1 win.

Goals from Martins Usule, Tasiu Lawal and Eric Frimpong condemned Tornadoes to another defeat.

" I have already inform the club management that whatever happen, I will tender my resignation letter" he said.

The vice chairman Comrade Bello Auta told the media department of the club "Coach Bernard Ogbe just inform us now that he has resigned his appointment as the technical adviser of the club"

"We wish him best of luck in his future endeavour"

Bernard Ogbe joined Niger Tornadoes at the beginning of the season from Mighty Jets.
