Bet9ja Alimosho Football Challenge enters semi-final stage

The Bet9ja Alimosho Football Challenge, the biggest and elaborate grassroot football tourney in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State is at its semi final stage.

One of the Bet9ja Super Agent in Alimosho, Sukanmi (ROLAG) said: "I'm highly impressive with the kind of soccer artistry I have seen from the 16 teams.

"It's been fun right from the knockout phase to this stage as all the teams really gave their best but at the end, kudos to the four teams that have come this far as they deserve to be in the semis.

"The passion shown by fans in Alimosho for the football challenge at this level is really amazing. It has spurred we (Bet9ja Super Agent in Alimosho) to do more in next edition. So I look forward to a thriller in the semi-finals."

Sixteen teams Samjason FC, FC Baggio, Invicivble Leopard,
Citadel FC, Glory FA, MUSTOY FC, Future Star, Peculiar FC, IG FC, KEDGE FC, Folasheun FC, EFCC FC, Wilson FC, Sammy FA, Prince Jay FC and Rolag FC kicked off the campaign from the Round of 16.

FC Baggio, Prince Jay FC, Citadel FC, Peculiar FC, MUSTOY FC, KEDGE FC, Folasheun FC and Wilson FC were the teams that made it to the quarter final.

Meanwhile Prince Jay FC will lock horns against Wilson FC while Peculiar FC host FC Baggio this weekend for a place in the final.
