Bendel Insurance have refuse to travel for the forthcoming Nigeria National League Super 8 tournament scheduled to hold in Aba.

After initially insisting on promotions for eight teams to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), the Nigeria National League (NNL) is reportedly set to hold a promotion playoff in Aba to determine four teams that would be promoted to the elite division.

But it seems the saga will continue as Bendel Insurance will not be honouring the upcoming Bet9ja Nigeria National League Super 8 competition scheduled to hold tomorrow in Aba, Abia State.

BSN Sports however chatted with an Insurance player whose name was annyomous , stating: " We just finish training this morning at UNIBEN Sports Complex, and heading back to our camp hostel"

Insurance finished top of Group B1 in the Bet9ja Nigeria National League (Bet9jaNNL) ahead of Shooting Stars of Ibadan..

As at the time of filing this report, Bendel Insurance are still in Edo State, however, it is unclear whether they will still travel to Aba for the playoff.
