Boost For Eagles As Ekong Returns From Injury

Super Eagles of Nigeria have been handed an injury boost ahead of their international friendly match against Brazil next month, with Udinese star William Troost-Ekong back from injury, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

BSN Sports can report that the Nigerian defender suffered a muscle fatigue in the closing minutes of their encounter against Ukraine as he was forced to leave the pitch.

Serie A side, Udinese posted on their official website, that Ekong has resumed full training with his teammates, also participating in the team's double session on Wednesday, after missing out for his team against inter Milan.

Ekong is expected to feature for Nigeria as coach of the super eagles Gernot Rohr is expected to release the match squad for the international friendly.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will Clash with the Samba boys at the National Stadium in Singapore on October 13.
