Super Eagles performance excites Sunday Dare

Nigeria's Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare was full of excitement following the superlative performance of Nigeria's Super Eagles against Selecao of Brazil in an international friendly.

The keenly contested encounter was played at the famous Kallang, National Stadium in Singapore on Sunday after the Brazilian forcing the Super Eagles to a 1-1 draw, BSN reports

The Minister saluted the courage of the players and hope the all hands were on decks to help the team achieve their set objectives.

"We have a dream team and we should keep them together. Young team. Average age 23 years. The Brazilian team’s average age should be about 28 years.

Great game of football! Ended in a one-all draw. Our boys were gallant and showed incredible commitment and industry against a star-studded Brazilian team.

The current crop of players in the Super Eagles are bankable and we will do everything to keep them together & united! Well done," he concluded.
